Responsible Gambling

Gambling is a means of pleasure & entertainment, it should never be used to substitute an income.

These few tips are to help you control your gambling or to help you recognise you may have a problem.

  1. You should never gamble more than you can afford, try to set yourself a budget and stick with it. On top of setting up a budget, get the casino to restrict your deposits, this means that you can only deposit what ever amount you set yourself either weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
  2. Never chase your loses, this is one thing problem gamblers find themselves doing more often than not to get back the money they had already lost. Doing this could lead to more heartache and further financial hardship.
  3. If you need to take a break from gambling, tell the casinos that you frequent that you want to exclude yourself for a certain period of time. The casino will then lock your account until the date you requested and will not re open it under any circumstances.
  4. *You should exclude yourself permanently for problem gambling if you find your spending is out of control*
  5. You should understand that there are risks in any form of gambling
